Procurement

Sometimes it will be to your advantage to purchase everything on your credit card, essentially giving yourself a loan.  This is how American Express claims to have helped start so many small businesses, and we think that it is a good idea too.

To support that notion, we use the hardware list we developed in the design phase to shop for the best balance between price, performance, and maintenance for you.  If you direct us to purchase your equipment for you, you will use your credit card for one purchase through us, of all (or part) of the equipment.  We charge a flat fee of $100 for procurement which is added to the actual cost of the products we purchase for you.

Being an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)  in many cases we may be able to build your equipment to specification more economically than to purchase it through a vertical market.  If that is the case we treat our OEM function as through it were another vendor and compete for your purchase.

• You may direct us to purchase or build your hardware and software.
• You may purchase the hardware and software then ship it to us.
• You may ship us your existing hardware and software together with all supporting documents.
• Or any combination of the above.

Note 1:

The cost of your equipment is not included in the price of this service.  You may use our 'Dollar Item' in the shopping cart prior to procuring your equipment, to provide a means for you to put the total amount of your equipment on one purchase, or you may call us to perform this transaction.

Note 2:

Often business grade hardware comes from other vendors with a personal operating system installed.  One of the key principles we rely on to achieve stability is that your operating system is business grade and that it supports security.  Depending upon circumstances, it may be necessary to purchase operating systems in addition to hardware.

Note 3:

As a business you will want to protect your assets and earnings.  It is critical that you have, on file, licenses for each operating system and application installed on each of your computers. Negotiating the murky waters of Microsoft licensing is difficult.  Using us to install your hardware and software will automatically ensure you have the correct licenses.

Procurement:

Purchase one Consult-2B per workstation or
Purchase one Consult-2C per server and up to five (5) workstations or combinations to suit.
