Shop Installation

We unpack, inspect, and clean all of the equipment as necessary.  Next we install the operating system, application software, network, and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners and so on, as though it is installed in your office.  Then we configure and test everything.  When we are done your office system will be completely up to date with all service packs and patches installed, security will be tightened, and updatable services like windows update, office update, anti-virus, and anti-spyware solutions will be installed configured, up to date, and set to automatic update. We submit your warranty registrations, and activate your software.  If we are going to provide long term support for your office system we also configure remote access.  Finally we label all of the equipment, cables, ports, and connections, and create a document that shows where everything is connected, and all the specific details of your configuration, repack everything and ship it to you.  We provide unlimited telephone support to assist you installing your pre-configured system.

The cost of your equipment is not included in the price of this service.  You may use our 'Dollar Item' in the shopping cart prior to procuring your equipment, to provide a means for you to put the total amount of your equipment on one purchase, or you may call us to perform this transaction.

Note 2:

Often business grade hardware comes from other vendors with a personal operating system installed.  One of the key principles we rely on to achieve stability is that your operating system is business grade and that it supports security.  Depending upon circumstances, it may be necessary to purchase operating systems in addition to hardware.

Note 3:

As a business you will want to protect your assets and earnings.  It is critical that you have, on file, licenses for each operating system and application installed on each of your computers. Negotiating the murky waters of Microsoft licensing is difficult.  Using us to install your hardware and software will automatically ensure you have the correct licenses.

Ask us about creating  an image copy of your fully configured workstation that can be used to quickly restore the system in the event of a major failure, or to support rapid roll-out of new features in large systems.
